Clarity Begins Here for a Journey Toward Peace, Presence, and Connection
Trauma Therapist serving Jacksonville and across all of Florida & Wyoming
You’re exhausted from carrying it all— pushing through, showing up, doing what’s expected.
You tell yourself to just keep going, but something isn’t working. The same patterns keep repeating, no matter how much you try to change them.
Does this sound familiar?
Maybe you’ve spent years minimizing your struggles, convincing yourself that things “aren’t that bad.”
Maybe you’ve worked hard to create a good life, but deep down, something still feels missing.
Maybe you’re so used to taking care of others, you’ve forgotten how to take care of yourself.
You don’t have to keep living this way.
Therapy is a space to untangle the patterns, uncover what’s beneath the surface, and finally feel like yourself again.
Right now, you feel exhausted, lost, and unsure what to do next.
The same patterns keep repeating, no matter how much you try to change them. Maybe you’ve spent years minimizing your struggles, convincing yourself that things “aren’t that bad.” Maybe you tell yourself that tomorrow will be different, only to wake up to the same doubts, the same cycles, the same ache of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unseen.
You work hard, but it never feels like enough. You’re always “on,” juggling responsibilities and showing up for others, but inside, you feel exhausted. You’ve built a successful life, yet something still feels missing. You struggle to say what you need— even when you know it’s important. You feel disconnected from yourself, your emotions, and your relationships.
What if healing wasn’t about trying harder, but about understanding what’s really holding you back?
Therapy is a space to slow down, untangle the patterns, and uncover what’s beneath the surface. It’s where you can reconnect with yourself, shift old narratives, and begin to live in a way that finally feels like you.
Therapy is more than a clinical process, it’s deeply personal.
I know what it’s like to carry the weight of trauma, to feel trapped in unhealthy patterns, to wonder if things will ever truly change. Healing isn’t just something I’ve studied— it’s something I’ve fought for in my own life.
That means when you sit across from me (or on the other side of the screen), you’re not just getting a trained therapist— you’re getting someone who truly understands what it means to carry deep wounds and do the hard work of healing.
When we work together, you’ll never need to explain why your pain is real or prove that your experiences “count.” I understand how trauma shapes the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us— and I know healing is possible, even when it feels out of reach.
Working with Me
I help people just like you— the ones who are ready for change and committed to doing the work to make that change happen. We won’t just talk about what’s wrong; we’ll explore why those patterns keep repeating and what it takes to break free from them.
Therapy with me is honest and real. I’ll challenge you when needed, but always with warmth, compassion, and respect.
Healing is deep, sacred work. When you are ready, I’ll be here with you every step of the way.
My Approach: Whole-Person Healing for Lasting Change
I believe that true healing goes beyond just managing symptoms— it’s about addressing the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
Our emotions don’t exist in a vacuum.
What we think, how we move, what we eat, and how we connect with others all play a role in our mental well-being.
When we work together, we’ll explore the deeper layers of your experiences while also focusing on practical, science-backed ways to support your mental health.
-
The mind doesn’t just think—it reacts. Your thoughts are shaped by your nervous system, your emotions, and the patterns you learned early in life. If you’ve ever struggled with racing thoughts, overwhelming self-doubt, or feeling stuck in survival mode, your mind might be caught in old protective patterns. In therapy, we won’t just focus on changing thoughts— we’ll work on shifting the deeper patterns that keep your mind in a loop of anxiety, fear, or overanalyzing. By integrating brain-based techniques, nervous system regulation, and emotion processing, you’ll learn how to quiet the noise and trust yourself again.
-
Trauma and stress don’t just live in the mind— they’re held in the body. If you’ve ever felt chronic tension, unexplained fatigue, or a sense of being “on edge” for no reason, it’s likely that your nervous system is stuck in survival mode. When the body is still carrying unprocessed experiences, it can be hard to feel truly safe, grounded, or at ease.
Through somatic approaches, breathwork, and movement-based techniques, we’ll work to release stored tension, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect you with a sense of safety in your own body. Healing isn’t just about changing thoughts— it’s about teaching your body that it’s safe to let go.
-
Healing isn’t just about feeling better— it’s about creating a life that feels fulfilling, connected, and whole. When we experience trauma, disconnection, or unhealthy relationships, it can make us question our sense of self, our relationships, and our place in the world.
We’ll explore what truly nourishes you at a deeper level— whether that’s connection with others, spirituality, creativity, or simply learning how to trust yourself again. Therapy isn’t just about processing pain— it’s about creating meaning, purpose, and connection so you can feel truly alive, present, and at home in yourself.
How it works
-
We’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation online. This is a chance for us to get to know each other— you can share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and see if we’re a good fit. Finding the right therapist is important, and I want you to feel comfortable moving forward.
-
If we decide to move forward, I’ll send over some simple paperwork and we’ll schedule your first session— either in person or online.
Therapy works best with consistency, and for many people, that means meeting weekly. However, I recognize that everyone’s needs and capacity are different. We will work together to find a frequency that fits your unique needs. Whether you’re looking to go slow and steady or are ready for more intensive work, we’ll create a schedule that supports your healing.
-
Therapy isn’t about quick fixes— it’s about deep, meaningful transformation. As we work together, you’ll begin to:
Understand the patterns that have been keeping you stuck.
Rewire how your mind and body respond to stress and trauma.
Develop self-trust and emotional clarity.
Build the confidence to navigate life with more ease and connection.
Some of the methods I use
-
EMDR helps reprocess distressing memories, trauma, and painful experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming. Using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sound), EMDR allows the brain to rewire how these memories are stored, reducing emotional intensity and distress. It’s especially effective for PTSD, anxiety, and past experiences that feel “stuck.”
-
IFS recognizes that we all have different “parts” within us— some that protect, some that criticize, and some that hold deep emotional pain. If you’ve ever felt conflicted within yourself or struggled with patterns you can’t seem to break, IFS helps bring understanding, healing, and harmony to these parts, allowing you to move forward with more self-compassion and clarity.
-
The way we connect with others and ourselves is deeply shaped by our earliest relationships. Attachment-Based Therapy helps you understand and heal relationship patterns, whether you struggle with trust, intimacy, or feeling emotionally safe with others. Together, we’ll explore how your attachment experiences influence your self-worth, boundaries, and ability to build fulfilling relationships— so you can create healthier, more connected relationships in your life.
-
For those struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) offers a powerful way to access healing beyond traditional talk therapy. In a safe, supportive environment, we combine ketamine’s therapeutic effects with guided therapy sessions to help process emotions, shift stuck patterns, and gain new perspectives on your healing journey. KAP can be a breakthrough tool for those who feel stuck or disconnected, allowing for deep emotional processing and self-discovery.
